ORDINANCE NUMBER 90-9408
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
FREDRICH DRIVE IN MEYER ADDITION.
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That a portion of Fredrich Drive, in Meyer Addition, more
particularly described as follows:
A part of Fredrich Drive located south of a portion of Lot
Fourteen (14), Block Five (5) and north of a portion of Lot
Twenty-three (23), Block Six (6), Meyer Addition to the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot Fourteen (14),
said point being on the north line of Fredrich Drive;
Thence South along the projected East line of said Lot
Fourteen (14) a distance of thirty feet (30.00') to the
centerline of Fredrich Drive;
Thence East along said centerline a distance of one and
eighty-five hundredths feet (1 .85') ;
Thence South along the projected East line of said Lot
Twenty-three (23) a distance of thirty feet (30.00');
Thence West along the South line of Fredrich Drive a
distance of thirty-one and eighty-five hundredths feet to a
non -tangent curve;
Thence Northerly along a curve to the left with a radius of
fifty feet (50.00') , an arc distance of sixty-four and
thirty-five hundredths feet (64.35') to a non -tangent line;
Thence East along the north line of Fredrich Drive a
distance of thirty feet (30.001) to the point of beginning. -
The above described parcel of land contains 1,446.75 square
feet or 0.03 acres, more or Tess.
be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, the City retains the
tract hereinafter described as a pedestrian / utility easement:
A parcel of land located south of a portion of Lot Fourteen
(14) , Block Five (5) and north of a portion of Lot
Twenty-three (23) , Block Six (6) , Meyer Addition to the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
Starting at the southeast corner of said Lot Fourteen (14),
Thence South along the projected East line of said Lot
Fourteen (14) a distance of fifteen feet (15.001) to the point
of beginning;
Thence South along said projected East line a distance of
fifteen feet (15') ;
Thence East a distance of one and eighty-five hundredths
feet (1.85');

Thence South along the projected East line of said Lot
Twenty-three (23) a distance of ten feet (10.00') ;
Thence West a distance of twenty-two and eighty-six
hundredths feet to a non -tangent curve;
Thence Northerly along a curve to with a radius of fifty feet
(50.00'), an arc distance of twenty-five and thirty
hundredths feet;
Thence East a distance of twenty-two and thirty hundredths
feet (22.30') to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 533.26 square
feet, more or less.
The North fifteen feet (15') of the above described parcel is
to be dedicated as a combination pedestrian and utility
easement. The South ten feet (101) of the above described
parcel is to be dedicated as a utility easement.
Section 2. That the above described portion of Fredrich Drive which
is vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in
accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
