AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
j Section 1. That the sum of 11.1.5600 mills on the dollar be and the same is hereby

j levied on real, personal and mixed property of whatsoever kind and nature (except in-
tangible property otherwise taxed or assessed according to law) in
the City of Salina,
which is a City of the first class having a population of less than 50,000, for the year
1951, for the purposes hereinafter set forth and apportioned and divided as follows:

Section 2. That the valuation of the property upon which the foregoing taxes

are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the assessment rolls for the
present year in the City office of the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansan and
it shall be the duty of the City Clerk of Salina, Kansas, immediately on and after
and on or
the passage and taking effect of this ordinance, before the 25th day of
August, 1954 to transmit a duly certified copy of this ordinance to the County Clerk
Of Saline County, Kansas so that the levy of taxes herein provided for may be placed
upon the tax rolls and the taxes collected according to law.
Sectio This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
Publication once in the official city paper.
