ORDINANCE NUMBER 90-9406
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING LAND TO THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH K.S.A. 12-520(b).
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter (SE4NWf) of Section Nineteen (19), Township
Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter (SEiNWf) of said Section Nineteen
(19), said point being the southeast corner of Meyer
Addition;
Thence north along the west line of the Southeast Quarter of
the Northwest Quarter (SEOWU and the east line of Meyer
Addition on an assumed bearing of North zero degrees, zero
minutes and zero seconds East (N.00000100"E) a distance of
seven hundred seventy-four and fifty-nine hundredths feet
(774.59') to the north line of Martin Avenue;
Thence North eighty-eight degrees, fifty-one minutes and
zero seconds East (N.88051 10011E) a distance of three
hundred and two hundredths feet (300.021);
Thence South zero degrees, zero minutes and zero seconds
West (S.00000'001,W) a distance of seven hundred
seventy-five and eighty hundredths feet (775.80') to a point
on the south line of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter (SE4NWf) of said Section Nineteen (19);
Thence South eighty-nine degrees four minutes and fifty-one
seconds West (S.89°04'51 "W) along the south line of the
Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SEOWU of
said Section a distance of three hundred feet (300.00') back
to the point of beginning.
Said tract contains five and thirty-four hundredths (5.34)
acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-520 is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That all property described in Section 1 hereof shall be
classed as lying in A-1, AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
