Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized End directed
to execute for and on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas, contracts by and
between the City and the State Highway Commission of I{ansas for the purpose of
obtaining the benefit of State aid for the improvement of streets designated as City
connecting links on the State Highway System on terms and conditions net forth in
such contracts as may be prepardd and approved by the State Highra.y Commission.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city paper.
