AN ORDINANCE ratifying and confirming the contract of Busboo# and Rauh for the building
of an Administration Building at the Salina Municipal Airport for the City
of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the acceptance by the City of Salina, Kansas of the proposal
w
of Busboom and Rauh, hereinafter referred to as "Contractor" as submitted to the
said Board on March 12, 1951, is found to be the lowest and best bid for the work to
be performed, and the contract awarded by the Board of Commissioners of said city to
said contractor and signed on behalf of the City of Salina by its Mayor on March 26,
1951, for the building of an Administration Building at the Salina Municipal Aipport,
at and for the unit prices for said work contained in said proposal, which proposal
and contract is hereby referred to and made part of this ordinance, be and the same is
hereby ratified and confirmed, said proposal being within the estimated cost of said
improvements as shown by the sworn estimates of a competent engineer for such purpose
and being on file in the office of the City Clerks which estimates are hereby referred
to and made parts of this ordinance.
Section 2. Said improvements shall be builts constructed and completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer
for such purpose and on file in the office of the City Clerk and in accordance with
the respective proposal of said contractor and under the terms of said contracts all
of which are incorporated in this ordinance by reference.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication once in the official city paper.
