5546 Additional Stops° ORDINANCE N0. 5546 _Published in the Salina Journal _ =___ ----_--____--=- 1 1 AN ORDINANCE providing that vehicles shall stop before entering certain intersections and providing for the amendment of Section 24-1006, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948, and providing for jyhe repeal of said Section 24-1006. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina: Section 1. That Section 24-1006 Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina., 1948s be and it is hereby amended to read as follows "24-1006 ADDITIONAL STOPS. No vehicle shall enter any of the following named STReers from the streets hereinafter designated, or any other intersection to the entrance to which a stop sign may be erected by order of the Board of Cormnissioners, without first being brought to a full and complete stop at the street line of the street which is to be entered, and shall not pro- ceed until danger of colliding with vehicles lawfully proceed- ing along any such street or approaching or going through any such intersection has passed, to -wit: Ash Street, from Columbia Avenue (south side only), from Penn Avenue, and from Third Street;. Mulberry Street, from Fifth Street (north side only) Walnut Street from Seventh Street and Eighth Street; College Avenue from South Street (east side only)." Section 2. That the original of Section 24-1006,p Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948, be and it is hereby repealed. Section 3•This ordinance shall be in fullforce and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
