hereby created Lateral Sani t --r77 Sewer District in the City of Sal 1 na, Kansas, :rzich

and :�:hich district small incluo.e all of t!).e follovan,=; described property in the City
of Sali_n^., Kansas, to -ti; -it:

in City of Salina., Saline County, Kansas.
Section 2. It is necessary and it is herebv ordered that an eight inch V. C. P.
lateral sanitarTr se, _r ;;_ith all necessary connections, manholes, flushing; tans and
other appurtenances be constructed and built in and to serve said Lateral Sanitary
Sewer District 258 as created. by Section 1 of this ordinance orlon; the follovcing
course, to-vr.%:
An 8 inch clay pipe sei:(,r beginning at a manhole 39 feet
south of the ,iorth line of Cloud Street and 125 feet west
of the rest line of Highland Avenue; thence south along
riufht-of-v:ay for utilities 725.0 feet to a manhole to be
constructed v;hich will be tern.-i_nus of lateral 258.

hereby created Lateral Sanit.-arrr Sevrer District in the City of Sal__riL, Kansas, ')ich
s fall be and it is hereby designated as Lateral Sanitary Sei-Ter District P?umber 259 and
ich district shall include all of the follovrinn described property in the City of
Salina, Kansas, to-v:it:
Benefit District: All of Blocs. 2, Kraft 1:'a.nor Addition
in the Cita- of Salina, Saline County, i�ansas.
Section L.. It is necessary and it is h rebv ord-ered that an ei;rht inch V. C. P.

Section 5. That the City Engineer shall on or. before December 18th 1950,
prepare and file in the o'ficeof the Cit --T Cleri., plans and specifications .=o:.: the

this ordinance v iich shall be of proper character to serve the prop rty lying vdthin

Section 7. After the passa e and rnht;lication of this ordinance, the Board of Com-
missioners shall appoint three disinterested appraisers, 1, -rho havin= taken an oath to
make a true and impartial apapraiserient of all lots and pieces o' l.ah.d to taxation for
the cost o1' such improvements, shall iiithin - ive d -,=s a'-'t(_�r riavir been roti=ied of
t,)eir a}:)po ntment proceed to appraise all of the lots and pieces o ' land i ithin such
districts liable to assessment and taxation as afores,id, trithout re^ard to tree buil.d-

Section 9. Por the purpose of payin; for the =ork and improvements in this
ordinance provided for, the Board of Commissioners are hereby authorized and directed
to issue bonds o( the City of Salina in an amount not to exceed the cost of such im-
py ovements and to run for a period of four years and be payable in four approximately
equal annual installments, together with interest not to exceed five per cent er annum,
