A11 ORDI:%XTCE defining the tearis as used in Section 13-301, Revised Ordinances of
the City of Salina, 1948, amending said section and enacting a new Section
13-301.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Colmiissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 13-301, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina,
1948, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. 13-301. DEFINITIONS. dherever the ti^,rord "person" is used in
this article (Article 3 of said Chapter 13 0' said Revised Ordinances) the same
shall be deemed to refer and relate to any person, copartnership or member thereof,
or corporation or any officer, ma.naer, or employee thereof.
Wherever the word auction is used in said article, the same shall be deemed
to refer and relate to a public auction to which the public as a vvhole is invited
or is allowed to attend or bid and said v:ord 'auction" shall not be deemed to refer
and relate to a private auction to which only certain persons and/or a certain class
of persons are permitted to be present, 01ft bid for or purchase merchandise.1t
Section 2. That Section 13-301, Revised ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its passage and adoption and publication in the official city paper.
