BE I`I ORDAIITED by the Board of Comraissioners of the City of Saline, hansas: Section 1. That the acceptance by the City of Salina of the proposal of H. J. Taylor Constructicn Company, hereinafter referred to as the 11cont;ractor11 as submitted to the Board of Commissioners on June 30, 1952, which is hereby round to be the lowest and best bid for s-, ch work, and the contract awarded by the Boarci of Conraissioners of i said city to said contractor and signed on behalf of the city by its 1�ayor on July 7, i 1952, for the constructs :n of certain public improvements in the City of Sdina, Kansas, to -wit: An eight inch clay pipe sewer beginning at an existing manhole in Charlotte Avenue and on line north of right-of-way first east of Ninth Street Place, thence south along said right-of-way 675 feet, more or less, to the center line of Leslie Avenue at which place a manhole will be constructed whichwill be terminus of Lateral Sewer 278. An eight inch clay pipe sewer begiruzing at an existing manhole in Charlotte Avenue and in line north of right -of -tray first east of "ri: .land Avenue; thence south along said ri,ht-of-way 675 feet, more or less, to the center line of Leslie Avenue, at wraith place a manhole will be constructed which will be terminus of Lateral Sewer 279. An eight inch clay pipe sewer beginning at an existing manhole in Charlotte Avenue and on line north of right-of-way first east of Sirunons Street; thence south along said right-of-way 675 2 et, more or less, to the center line of Leslie Avenue, at which place a .aanhole will be constructed which will be terminus of Lateral Sewer 280. An eight inch clay pipe sewer begirming at an existing rlanhole in Charlotte Avenue and on line north of right-of-way frist east of Larson Street; thence south along said right-of-way 675 feet, more or less, to the center line of Leslie .venue, at wThich place a man- hole will be constructed which will be terminus of Lateral Surer 281. An eight inch clay sewer beginning at an existing manhole in Charlotte Avenue and on line north of ri-ht-of-way first east of Gebhart Street; thence south along said richt-of-way 675 feet, more or less, to the center line of Leslie Avenue, at which place a man- hole will be constructed wi^ich will be terminus of Lateral 262. An eight inch clay pipe sewer beginning at an existing manhole on south line of Charlotte Avenue extended east and on line -north of right-of-way first east of Fourth Street; thence south along said right-of-way 550 feet; thence east 17 feet; thende south 130 feet to the south line of Leslie Avenue at which place a manhole will be constructed which will be terminus of Lateral Sewer 263, at and for the unit price for said work contained in said proposal, which proposal and contract are hereby referred to and made parts of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed, said pr-oposal being within the esti gated cost of said improvements as shown by the sworn estimat.ELt of the City ingineer on file in the office of the City Clerk, which estimates are hereby referred to and made a part of this ordinance. Section 2. Said improvements shall be built and constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore prepreed by the City Engineer on file in the office of the City Clerk and in accordance writh the proposal of said contractor and under the terms of said contract, all of which are hereby referred to and ?-Wade a part o_' this ordinance. 1 1 1 Sectif;n 3.
