AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of a certain street in the City of
Salina, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof.

RE IT ORDA.UED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. 24-1411B ANGLE P_iR1IITG. On the follo%,dng named street,

vehicles shall be parked zvi-tn the ri._;ht side of any such vehicle toward and
at an angle of 45 degrees :with the ri&-1t hand curb line of such street, and
with the right front whheel of such vehicle against -the curb or on the curb
line of such street, and it shall be the duty of the City Manager and the
Street Department to cause to be plainly marked upon the curb or along the
curb line, by means of painted lines set at an angle of 45 degrees rvith the
curb line, and (10) ten feet (6) Six inches distant from center to center of
such lines of the curb line, indicating the spaces within which and the angle
at which all vehicles shall be parked on such portions of such street, and
it shall be unlawful for any driver or m -mer of any vehicle to parr or permit

the same to be parked on any portion of any such street except within the space

so indicated, at the angle so indicated, the street upon which such angle park-
ing is to be required being as follows:

On tiviest side of Santa Fe Avenue from the
South line of Ellsworth Avenue to the
north 1 in e of Jewell Avenue.,
j Section 2. This ordinance shall be deemed to supple -:lent the provisions
of Section 24-1411, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948.
Section 3. PLIALTY. A person convicted of a violation of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished
by a fine of not more than $100.00 or by imprisonment of not more than ten
days.
Section 49 This ordinance shall bein full force and effect from and after
j its adoption and publication once �n the official city paper.
