AN OHLT17ANCL condemning certain land within the city limits of the City of Salina for
the use of said city in the constructs n of a storm sewer, and conduit.
ti r;1PS, the governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas, on the 18th day of 11ebruary,
1952, by Resolution Number 1282 found it necessary to appropriate certain property
located in Saline County, Kansas, as described in said resolution for the use of said
city in construction of a storm sewer and conduit, and :directed that a survey and des-
cription of said land so reouired be made.

Section 1. The following described land- is hereby condemned and appropriated
for the use of the Cite of Salina, Kansas for the construction of a storm sewer and
conduit: A part of Lot 33 on Kirwin Avenue, Addition to the Gro,mds of Kansas liesleyan
University Addition to the City of Salina., Saline Co,nty, Kansas, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the south lot lige 16 feet east of the southwest corner of said
lot, thence east, 34 feet to the southeast corner, thence north 120 feet to the north-
east corner, thence southwesterly 12..7 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. That C. L. Clark, City Attorney of said city is hereby ordered and
directed to forewith prepare and present in the name of the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Salina, Kansas, a written application to the Judge of the District Court
of Saline Counter, Kansas, praying for an order of appointment of co#mi.ssioners to make
appreisement and assessment of damages ar_sing from the appropriation of said real
estate described in Section 1 hereof and do and perform all things in and about pro-
curing and recordinz- said order of appointment required by law, and completing the
appropriation_ of said land as provided by- law.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force fro:z and after its
Publication in the official city paper.
