AN ORDINANCE condemning certain land within the city limits of the City of Salina for
the use of said city in the construction of a storm sewer and conduit.
WHHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas, on November 19, 1951, by
Resolution 1263 found it necessary to appropriate certain property located in Saline
County, Kansas, as described in said Resolution for the use of said city in construction
of a storm sewer and conduit, and directed that a survey and description of said land
so required be made.
WHEREAS., on the 3rd day of December 1951, a survey and description of the land referred
to in said resolution was duly filed, SO NUd THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The following described land is hereby condemned and appropriated for
the use of the City of Salina, Kansas, for the construction of a storm sewer and conduit.
1. Part of Lot 1, Block 4, Collegeview Addition described as follows: Beginning
at the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence west to the northwest corner of
said Lot 1; thence south 73.53 feet on lot line; thence northeasterly 88 feet;
more or less, to point of beginning.
2. Part of Lot 17, Block 3, Collegeview Addition described as follows: Beginning
on the north line of said Lot 17 and 5 feet west of the northeast corner; thence
east 5 feet; thence south to the southeast corner of said Lot 17; thence west
50 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 17; thence north on west lot lime

to make appraisement and assessment of damages arising from the appropriation of said
real estate described in Section 1 hereof and do and perform all things in and about
procuring and recording said order of appointment required by law, and completing the
appropriation of said land as provided by law.
