I'dHEREAS, by Resolutions Plumber 1288, 1301, 129., 1285, 1299, 1295, 1298, 1307, 1293,
1292, 1296, 1313, 1289, 1306, 1300, 1297, 1303, 1284, duly adopted on March 24, 1952:
April 11L, 1952, April 28, 1952, June 9, 1952, March 31, 1952 and April 21, 1952,
respectively, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina have declared that they
deem it necessary to curb, gutter and grade Anderson Avenue (on tine north side) from a
point 200 feet west of the west line of Front Street, to the Hest line of Third Street,
and on the south side of Anderson Avenue f rom the west line of Front Street to the west
line of Third Street; Charlotte Avenue (on the north side) from t',. -Ie west line of Hinth
Street Place to the center line of Highland Avenue; and curbing, guttering and grading
Charlotte Avenue (on the south side) from the center line of Plinth Street Place to the
center line of Highland Avenue; Charlotte Avenue (on the south side) from the center line
of Simmons Street to the center line of Fourth Street; Delaware Avenue from the south
line of Stack A enue to the center line of Greeley Avenue; Fourth Street (on the west
side) from the center line of Charlotte Avenue to the center line of Leslie Avenue,and
curbing, guttering and grading of Fourth Street (on the east side) from the center line
j of Charlotte Avenue to the south line of Leslie Avenue; Gebhart Street from the center

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Safina, Kansas;

I i Section 1. That it is necessary and it is hereby ordered that Anderson Avenue (on
the north side) from a point 200 feet west of the west line of Front Street, to the west

excavation necessary therefor and graded to the established paving -rade to each side

Section 2. That it is necessary and it is hereby ordered that Charlotte Avenue
(on the north side) from the west line of Ninth Street Place to the center line of

in said city be curbed and guttered with excavation necessary therefor and graded to the
established paving grade to each side thereofp as may be necessary for the co.npletion of

the south line of Stack Avenue to the center line of Greeley Avenue, in said city be

the west side) from the north line of Morningside Drive to the south line of Wilson
Street, and Sunrise Drive (on the east side) from the north line of Plorningside ;,rive
to the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 6, a-lorningside Addition, in said city be curbed
and guttered with excavation necessary therefor and graded to the established paving grade

from the center lire of Charlotte Avenue to the center li-ne of Leslie Avenue, in said

said work.
Section 17. That it is necessary and it is hereby ordered that Stack Avenue
from the center line of Delairare Avenue to the east line of -First alley east of
Delaware Avenue, in said city, be curbed and guttered with excavat-_on necessary therefor
and graded to the established paving grade to each side thereof, as may be necessary for
the co,apletion of said work.
Section 18. That it is necessa°y and it is hereby ordered that Wisconsin Avenue
from the center line of Iron Avenue to the center line of G-.-psum Avenue, in said city
be curbed and guttered Trrith excavation necessary therefor and graded to the established
paving grade to each side thereof, as may be necessary for the co_iplet'on of said work.
Section 19, icor the Work irProvements herein provided for theCity &gi.neer shall
make and file with the City Clerk on or before the
11th day of August 1952,
complete plans and specifications for the curbing, guttering and `rade

directed to issue internal improvement

exceed the contract price or cost of such improvements and to run for a period of four
years and be payable in four equal installments, togetlier with interest to not exceed
five per cent per annum, T.hich bonds shall be made payable at the Fiscal Agency of the
State o° Kansas, and for the r_T.a.,rpose of paying principal and interest on said bonds as
they severally become due and payable, the Board of Cor,unissicners shall apportion and
assess against the lots and pieces of land within the taxing district of such improve-
mems, special assessments covering
