91-9461 Vac Elmdale AddKvhn-Cor Printing — Salina, Kansas ( Published in the Salina Journal August 36, 1991) ORDINANCE NUMBER 91-9461 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF PLATTED ASH STREET AND THE EXISTING STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY WEST OF THE DRY CREEK CUT OFF CHANNEL WEST OF BROADWAY BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS. Kansas: BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Section 1. That the portion of platted Ash Street and the existing street right-of-way west of the Dry Creek cutoff channel west of Broadway Boulevard, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot One (1) , Block Five (5), Elmdale Addition; Thence West a distance of one hundred three feet (1031) along the South right-of-way line of Ash Street to the point of beginning; Thence continuing West along said South right-of-way line a distance of one hundred feet (1001) to the approximate centerline of Old Dry Creek channel; Thence in a Northwesterly direction along said centerline of said Old Dry Creek channel to the intersection of the North right-of-way line of Ash Street; Thence East along said North right-of-way line a distance of one hundred seventy-five and five tenths feet (175.51); Thence eighty feet (80') to the point of beginning. The above described tract contains 12,816 square feet, more or less. be and the same is hereby vacated; provided, however, the City retains a utility easement described as follows: The North twenty feet (201) of the South thirty feet (301) of the above described property. Section 2. That the above described portion of Ash Street and street right-of-way, which is vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owners in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443 . Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
