ORDINANCE NUMBER 93-9546
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
LAND IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION THIRTY-SIX (36)
TOWNSHIP FOURTEEN (14) SOUTH RANGE THREE (3) WEST OF THE SIXTH
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH
THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the South One Half (S-21) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW -41) of Section Thirty-six (36),
Township Fourteen (14) south, Range Three (3) West of
the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas and
described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Southwest
Quarter (SW -41) of Section Thirty-six (36);
Thence on an assumed bearing of North eighty-nine degrees
thirty-five minutes fifty-six seconds West (N.89°35'56"W. )
along the south line of said southwest quarter a distance
of twenty-two and nine hundredths (22.09) feet to the
point of beginning;
Thence continuing North eighty-nine degrees thirty-five
minutes fifty-six seconds West (N.89'35'56"W.) along said
south line a distance of one thousand twenty-eight and two
hundredths feet (1028.02') ;
Thence North zero degrees twenty-two minutes forty-one
seconds East (N.00 -22'41"E.) a distance of one thousand
three hundred thirty-five and thirty-eight hundredths feet
(1,335.38') to a point on the north line of the south one
half of said southwest quarter;
Thence South eighty-nine degrees thirty-six minutes
fifty-five seconds East (S.89 -36'55"E.) along said north
line a distance of one thousand twenty-four and sixty-nine
hundredths feet (1,024.69');
Thence South zero degrees fourteen minutes six seconds
West (S.00°14'06"W.) a distance of one thousand three
hundred thirty-five and sixty-eight hundredths feet
(1335.68') to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 31.46 acres,
more or less.
The above described parcel of land is subject to:
A twenty-four and seventy-five hundredths foot (24.75')
road right-of-way to Saline County;
A "blanket" easement to Southwestern Bell Telephone
Company as recorded in Misc. Book 24, Page 304, Saline
County Register of Deeds;
A "blanket easement to The Kansas Power and Light
Company for gas lines as recorded in Misc. Book 29,
Page 181, Saline County Register of Deeds;
A twenty-five foot (25') electric transmission line
easement as recorded in Misc. Book 65, Page 438, Saline
County Register of Deeds;
Kuhn -Cor Printing — Salina. Kansas
A thirty-foot (30') permanent sanitary sewer line easement
to the City of Salina as recorded in Misc. Book 153, Page
473, Saline County Register of Deeds;
An eighty foot (80') temporary construction easement to the
City of Salina in Misc. Book 153, Page 477, Saline County
Register of Deeds;
A twenty foot (20') permanent sanitary sewer easement as
recorded in Misc Book 153, Page 511, Saline County
Register of Deeds;
An eighty foot (801) temporary construction easement as
recorded in Misc. Book 153, Page 513, Saline County
Register of Deeds,
as well as any other easement or right-of-ways of record.
Also known as Tasker Addition to the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city
newspaper.
