ORDINANCE NUMBER 92-9508
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND
THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND
PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning
District Map, the rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described
has been timely complied with, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "R-111. SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina,
Kansas, duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the
same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that
the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter (SE/4 SW/4) of Section Nineteen (19) , Township
Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian in Salina, Saline County, Kansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SE/4 SW/4) of said
Section Nineteen (19);
Thence North on an assumed bearing of North one degree
thirty minutes nine seconds East (N.01°30'09"E.), a
distance of seven hundred thirty-seven and ninety-nine one
hundredths (737.99) feet to the point of beginning;
Thence continuing North one degree thirty minutes nine
seconds East (N.01°30'09"E.) a distance of five hundred
eighty-three and twenty-seven hundredths (583.27) feet;
Thence North eighty-nine degrees fifty-five minutes zero
seconds West (N.89°55'00"W.) a distance of seven hundred
thirty-one and eleven hundredths (731.11) feet;
Thence South one degree fourteen minutes forty-eight
seconds West (S.01°14'48"W.) a distance of nine hundred
eighty-two and eleven hundredths (982.11) feet;
Thence South ninety degrees zero minutes zero seconds
East (S.90'00'00"E.) a distance of two hundred eighty-five
and seventy-two hundredths (285.72) feet;
Thence North zero degrees twenty-nine minutes fourteen
seconds East (N.00 -29'14"E.) a distance of three hundred
seventy-five and thirty-one hundredths (375.31) feet;
Thence North eighty-seven degrees eight minutes zero
seconds East (N.87'08'00"E.) a distance of four hundred
forty-eight and eighty-three hundredths (448.83) feet back
to the point of beginning
Containing 12.478 acres, more or less.
Also known as The Laurie Subdivision.

shall become a part of DISTRICT "R-1". SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT.
Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and
limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8426, the same being
Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
