Kansas OctVer ,ice (Published in The Salina Journal September 1993) ORDINANCE NUMBER 93-9597 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO NOW, THEREFORE, Kansas: BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "PC -5". PLANNED SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Lots One Hundred Thirty-nine (139) , One Hundred Forty-one (141) , One Hundred Forty-three (143) and One Hundred Forty-five (145) on Fourth Street, Original Town of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. shall become a part of District "PC -5". PLANNED SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. That the use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the PLANNED SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. Development of the property shall be subject to the plans on file with the City Planning Commission and/or City Clerk and the following conditions, to -wit: 1. The permitted uses shall be limited to automobile reconditioning and display and mini -warehouses plus any use permitted in the C-4 district. No outdoor storage of equipment shall be permitted. 2. The site plan shall be revised as follows: a. A 6' high solid screening fence or landscaped buffer consisting of trees and shrubs shall be shown along both the east and south property line. b. Eight (8) tree plantings shall be shown in the 20' front yard setback between the mini -warehouse buildings and 4th Street. C. The width of the asphalt paving on the south edge of the site shall be reduced by 5 ft . and a 5 ft., undisturbed landscape buffer shall be left in place. NUM1nCox Frrn�inp — Salrna, Kanses d . These revisions shall be made and a revised site plan submitted prior to City Commission consideration. 3. All trees planted shall be selected from the city's approved street tree list. 4. All development shall be in substantial conformance with the approved site development plan. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
