93-9583 ParksKuhn -Cox Printing — Salina, Kansas (Published in The Salina Journal July /9 , 1993) ORDINANCE NUMBER 93-9583 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27-16 OF THE SALINA CODE REGARDING CLOSING HOURS OF CERTAIN PARKS AND REPEALING THE EXISTING SECTION. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas Section 1. That Section 27-16 of the Salina Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 27-16. Closing hours of parks. (a) Sunset and Bill Burke parks within the city shall be closed to the general public between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a. m. (b) Oakdale, Lakewood, Jerry Ivey, Indian Rock, Kenwood (West of Kenwood Drive, area of locomotive only) and Centennial parks within the city shall be closed to the general public between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a. m. (c) No persons, other than law enforcement officers, city employees engaged in city business, or persons with a permit issued pursuant to Section 27-17 below, shall either enter or remain within a park listed in subsections (a) and (b) when the park is closed to the general public." Section 2. That the existing Section 27-16 of the Salina Code is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
