ORDINANCE NUMBER 93-9559
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
LAND IN LOT FOUR (4) , SURVEYOR'S PLAT NO. EIGHTEEN (18) , SECTION
SEVEN (7) , ALL IN TOWNSHIP FOURTEEN (14) SOUTH RANGE TWO (2) WEST
OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS, IN
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
INCLUSIVE.
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
All that part of Lot Four (4) , Surveyor's Plat No. Eighteen
(18) , Section Seven (7) , all in Township Fourteen (14)
South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth (6th) Principal
Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, which is more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Section Seven (7),
thence west along said south line of said Section Seven
(7) , on a bearing of North eighty-nine degrees fifty-three
minutes forty-five seconds West (N.89'53145"W.) a distance
of four hundred seventeen and twenty hundredths (417.20)
feet to the point of beginning;
Thence westerly on a bearing of North eighty-nine degrees
fifty-three minutes forty-five seconds West (N.89°53145"W. )
a distance of seven hundred eighty-nine (789.0) feet;
Thence northeasterly on a bearing of North forty-three
degrees twenty-two minutes fifteen seconds East
(N.43°22'15"E.) a distance of five hundred ninety (590.0)
feet;
Thence west thirty (30.0) feet on a bearing of North
eighty-nine degrees fifty-three minutes forty-five seconds
West (N.89°53'45"W.);
Thence North fifty degrees fourteen minutes twenty-five
seconds East (N.50'14'25"E.) a distance of five hundred
fifty-eight and fifty-three hundredths (558.53) feet;
Thence South zero degrees sixteen minutes fifty-five
seconds West (S.00'16'55"W.) a distance of seven hundred
seventy-five and twenty hundredths (775.20) feet back to
the point of beginning.
The above described tract of land contains 7.1 acres, more
or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city
newspaper.
