ORDINANCE NUMBER 95-9696
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF PART OF THE
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS IN LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, AND LOTS 1
THROUGH 3, BLOCK 2, IN GRAIN BELT SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, j
Section 1. That the south 185.11 feet of the north -south public I
utility easement located between Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Grain Belt Subdivision
and all public utility easements on Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 2, Grain Belt
Subdivision in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas are hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the petitioner shall dedicate the new utility
easements, both public and private, as shown on the attached drawings.
Section 3. That the petitioner shall provide written agreements with
each utility company affected to address the arrangements, schedules and costs
associated with the utility system relocations.
Section 4. No building permits shall be issued on property affected
by this ordinance until completion of the dedication and recording of the new
easements, and submittal of completed agreements with the affected utility
companies.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
