ORDINANCE NUMBER 95-9683
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A
FORTY-TWO ACRE TRACT INTO THE CITY. THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS
LOCATED EAST OF SEITZ DRIVE BETWEEN BROOKWOOD LANE AND THE
COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES SUBDIVISION. IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN j
CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526,
INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW1/4) of
the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section Seventeen (17) ,
Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the said Northwest
Quarter (NW1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4), thence
easterly along the north line of said Northwest Quarter
(NW1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) on an assumed
bearing of North 89 degrees 04 minutes 28 seconds East a
distance of 750.30 feet;
- thence South 00 degrees 17 minutes 20 seconds East a
distance of 1326.63 feet;
- thence South 89 degrees 41 minutes 28 seconds West a
distance of 750.30 feet;
- thence North 00 degrees 17 minutes 14 seconds West a
distance of 1319.04 feet to the point of beginning.
AND
A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4) of
Section Seventeen (17) , Township Fourteen (14) South,
Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in
Saline County, Kansas described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northeast
Quarter (NE1/4), thence northerly along the west line of
said Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) on an assumed bearing of
North 00 degrees 19 minutes 49 seconds East a distance of
1158.40 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest
corner of Country Club Estates Addition No. 3 to the City
of Salina, Saline County, Kansas;
- thence North 89 degrees 09 minutes 06 seconds East
along the South line of said Country Club Estates No. 3 a
distance of 750.30 feet;
- thence South 00 degrees 19 minutes 52 seconds West, a
distance of 1157.45 feet to a point on the south line of
said Northeast Quarter (NE1/4);
- thence South 89 degrees 04 seconds 28 seconds West a
distance of 750.30 feet to the point of beginning.
The above described tracts of land contain 42.73 acres
more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the tract of land described in Section 1 above shall
be zoned R, Single -Family Residential District.

and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
