ORDINANCE NUMBER 96-9742
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF THE
DRAINAGE EASEMENTS LOCATED ON LOTS 3 THROUGH 6, BLOCK 1,
INTERSTATE DISTRICT NO. 2, TO THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY,
KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the drainage easements located on Lots 3 through
6, Block 1, Interstate District No. 2, in the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas are hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the above described portion of easements, which
are vacated by this ordinance, shall revert to the ownership of Lots 3 through
6, Block 1, Interstate District No. 2, in accordance with K.S.A. 13-443.
Section 3. That the vacation of the above described drainage
easements shall not be in full force and effect until the new replacement
drainage easements have been dedicated and properly recorded in the public
record.
Section 4. That the vacation of the above described drainage
easements shall not be in full force and effect until the proposed drainage
improvements have been constructed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
