AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
LAND IN SECTION THIRTY-TWO (32) , TOWNSHIP FOURTEEN (14) SOUTH,
RANGE TWO (2) WEST OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN SALINE
COUNTY, KANSAS, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, INCLUSIVE; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 95-9692.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
A tract of land situated East of the Smok Hill River; a
part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1 4) of Section
Thirty -Two (32) , Township Fourteen South (T14S) , Range
Two West (R2W) of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in Saline

- thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds East,
along said right of way line, distance of 493.72 feet, to
the point of beginning.
Said tract of land is subject to all easements and right of
ways of record.
Said tract of land contains 2, 560, 087.17 square feet or
58.77 acres more or less.
all in Highland Meadows Hamlet Addition to the City of
Salina, Saline County, Kansas
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A.
12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Ordinance Number 95-9692 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
