ORDINANCE NUMBER 97-9812
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF THE PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR NORTH TENTH STREET FROM THE NORTH
RIGHT-OF-WAY OF BISHOP STREET TO THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 24, BLOCK
8, DEPOT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the public right -of way for North Tenth Street from
the north right-of-way of Bishop Street to the north line of Lot 24, Block 8,
Depot Addition, to the City of Salina, Kansas is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the west 40 feet of the vacated right-of-way shall
revert to the owner. of Lots 19 - 24, Block Eight, Depot Addition and the east
40 feet of the vacated right-of-way shall revert to the owners of Lots 17 - 22,
Block Seven, Depot Addition.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
