ORDINANCE NUMBER 96-9779
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A TWENTY
FOOT WIDE PUBLIC STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY IN BLOCK 12 OF THE
LEAVENWORTH ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY,
KANSAS.
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the twenty (20) foot wide public street right-of-way
in Block 12 of the Leavenworth Addition, except the north 100 feet of said
right-of-way, in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the east ten (10) feet of the above described public
right-of-way in Block 12, Leavenworth Addition, which is vacated by this
ordinance, shall revert to the adjacent property owner of Lots 1, 9 and 10,
Block 12, Leavenworth Addition, and the west ten (10) feet of the above
described public right-of-way shall revert to the vacated Park No. 3,
Leavenworth Addition.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
