ORDINANCE NUMBER 97-9850
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE SOUTH NINTH STREET CORRIDOR
STUDY AS AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, KANSAS.
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the South Ninth Street Corridor Study be adopted as
Ian amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan be amended as follows:
1) The area between South Ninth Street and I-135 extending from
1/4 mile south of Schilling Road to 1/4 mile south of Water Well
Road shall be changed from Industrial to Service Commercial.
2) The area between South Ninth Street and I-135 extending from
1/4 mile south of Water Well Road to Farrelly Road shall be
changed from Industrial to Light Industrial/Business Park.
Section 3. That the Service Areas Map be amended as follows:
1) The area between South Ninth Street and I-135 extending from
1/2 mile south of Schilling Road to 1/2 mile south of Water Well
Road shall be changed from Secondary Service Area "C" to
Primary Service Area "B".
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
