CORRECTED ORDINANCE NUMBER 98-9868
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
MBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE
NING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING
R THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND
ESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map,
he rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO
. _ OW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "R-1019 SINGLE-FAMILY
[DENTIAL DISTRICT and "R-2" MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly adopted and published as a part of
lance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby
ded so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Blocks 2, 3, 4, 5, and Lots 1 - 15, Block 6 and Lots 1 - 27, Block 7 of
the Eastview Estates Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas
shall become part of DISTRICT "R -I", SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
Said tract of land contains 39.31 acres, more or less.
Block 1, Lots 16 - 20, Block 6 and Lots 28 - 34, Block 7 of the Eastview
Estates Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas
shall become part of DISTRICT "R-2" MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
Said tract of land contains 11.36 acres, more or less.
The above described tracts of land are located in the North Half (NI/2) of
the Northwest Quarter (NW'/a) of Section Thirty-one (31), Township
Fourteen South (T14S), Range Two West (R2W) of the Sixth Principal
Meridian in Saline, County, Kansas and contain Fifty and Sixty-seven
hundredths (50.67) acres, more or less.
Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. The use of said described property
shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided fir in
Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the "R-
1 ", SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT and "R-2" MULTIPLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT regulations.
Section 3. That all prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above
described real estate are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
