AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 and
the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning
of certain property within the city and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map
and the rezoning of certain lands within, hereinafter described has been timely
complied with; and SO NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT, ILTRICT "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DIS`T'RICT. That the
Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and pub-
lished in and as a part of Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so
that the following described property as follows, to -wit:
A Tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section Four-
teen, Township Fourteen South, Range Three West of the
i Sixth Principal Meridian, more particularly described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the west right-of-way
line of U.S. Highway No. 81, which point is One Thousand
Sixty -Seven and five tenths feet south of the center line
of Walnut Street; thence southerly along the west right-
of-way line of US. Highway No. 81, One Hundred Thirty feet;
thence westerly parallel with the center line of Walnut
j Street to the east line of Smither Street; thence northerly
along the east line of Smither Street One Hundred Thirty Feet;

thence easterly parallel with the center line of Walnut
Street One Hundred Fifty and two-tenths feet, more or less
i
to the point of beginning.

shall become a part of District "D", Local Business District. That the use of
said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and
limitations as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference

to the Local Business District, as aforesaid.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and
p publication once in the official city paper.
