BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That it is hereby determined to be necessary to appropriate certain private property located in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, to -wit: Part of the North Half (N/2) of Section Twenty-three (23), Township Fourteen (14), Range Three (3) West of the 6th P.M. in Saline County, Kansas, described as: Beginning at a point which is the southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 2, in Sunset Manor Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence east a distance of 216 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 8, Block 15, Southern Heights Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence south a distance of 60 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 16, Southern Heights Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence west a distance of 216 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 19, Block 1, Sunset Manor Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence north a distance of 60 feet to the place of beginning; for use by the City as a public street. Section 2. Harold -7. Harper, City Engineer of the said City, is hereby directed to survey the lands to be taken, as aforesaid, and to file a complete description and plat. thereof with the City Clerk of said City prior to May 5, 1954• Section 3.
