AN ORDINANCE regulating the speed of vehicles on public streets an addition�to the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 24-701, Revised Ordinances of the City 4f Salina, 1948.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SALINA:
Section 1. 24-701 A. On that certain street leading from the intersection of
Prescott Avenue and Second Street through Kenwood Park to the south end of the bridge at
the intersection of Oakdale Drive and Oakdale Avenue, the maximum lawful speed shall be
25 miles per hour.
Section 2. 24-701 B. PENALTY. It is a misdemeanor for any person to violate the
foregoing section and any person convicted thereof shall be punished by a fine notmore
than $100.00 or by imprisonment of not more than ten days.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
