AN ORDINANCE providing for the regulation of the hours and days of operation and the age
of players at certain places of amusement in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas,
and providing for the amendment of Section 13-1105 and for the repeal of said section, of
the Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kars as:
Section 1._ That Section 13-1105 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina,
Kansas, 1948, be and it is hereby amended, to read as follows:
13-1105. HOURS OPEN: SUNDAY. It shall be unlawful for any
person or persons to keep open or cause or permit to
be kept open any billiard or pool hall, or any other
place where billiard or pool tables or other gaming
tables or devices are kept for pay on the first day
of the week, commonlyknown as Sunday, or between the
hours of 11 P.M. and 6 JR.M., on any day, or permit
any game to be played therein on Sunday or between
such hours of 11 P.M. and 6 A.M. on any day.
Section 2. REPEAL. That Section 13-1105, as amended, of the Revised Ordinances of
the City of Salina, 1948, be and it is hereby repealed.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. That this ordinance shall be and remain in full force
and effect from and after its publication once in the official city paper.
