98-9891 Zone Golden Eagle Est(Published in The Salina Journal Septemberbi 1998) ORDINANCE NUMBER 98-9891 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE MBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE NING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING R THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND ESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "PC -2"9 PLANNED SHOPPING DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Lot One (1) plus the South Twenty -Five (25) feet of Lot Two (2), Block 5, Golden Eagle Estates Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. become a part of a DISTRICT "PC -211, PLANNED NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING TRICT. Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. The use of said described property tall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the "C- ", NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING DISTRICT regulations, subject to the following conditions limitations: 1. The only non-residential use permitted shall be a beauty shop with One (1) outside assistant. Remaining uses and development of the property shall be governed by the provisions of the "R" District. 2. Development of the home and beauty shop shall be completed in substantial conformance with the approved site development plan with no driveway access to Magnolia Road. 3. The front yard area along Magnolia Road shall be appropriately landscaped with trees and shrubs. 4. No business sign shall be permitted. 5. All parking and driveway areas shall have a paved surface. Section 3. That all prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above described real estate are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
