AN ORDINANCE regulating and limiting the time of parking of vehicles on a part of certaini
streets inthe City of Salina, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Salina, Kams:
Section 1. 24-1". Parking Time Limited in Designated Places: Additional One -
Hour Zones. No person shall park or leave or cause or permit to be parked or left any
vehicle for more than one hour at any one time and in any one place, between the hours of
7:00 otclock A.M. and 7:00 otclock P.M. on any day of the week except Sunday, on any of
the following streets in the City of Salina, between the limits hereinafter mentioned,
to -wit:
On both sides of Ash Street between Seventh Street and Eighth Street.
On both sides of Seventh Street between Ash Street and Elm Street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be deemed to supplement the provisions of Section
24-1414, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948, as amended.
Section 3. Penalty. A person convicted of violation of this ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished by a fine of not
more than $100.00 or by imprisonmeht of not more than ten (10) days.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full forceand effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
