AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina, pro-
viding a penalty for the violation thereof and amending Section 24-1415, Revised Ordi-
nances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-1415A and
24-141.5B, and repealing the original Section 24-11415, Revised Ordinances of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 19148, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-1141.5A and 24-1415B, aforesaid.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kars as:
Section 1. Amendment. That Section 214-111.5, Revised Ordinances of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-11415A and 24-1415B, be and they are
hereby amended to read as follows, to -wit:
PARKING TIME LIMITED IN DESIGNATED PLACES: TWO-HOUR PARKING ZONE.
No person shall park or leave or cause or permit to be parked or left any vehicle
than
for more/two hours at any one time at any one place between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M.
and 7:00 o'clock P.M. on arty day of the week, except Sunday, on any of the following
streets in the City of Salina between the limits hereinafter mentioned, towit:
On each side of Eighth street from Iron Avenue north to.WgiiD
2W*%AV#0WW the south line of Ash Street;
On the east side of Eighth Street between Walnut Street and the driveway
south of the post office, said driveway being the first driveway south
of Iron Avenue;

On the north side of Iron Avenue from the east side of Ninth Street,
thence east to the west line of Eighth Street;
On the both sides of Fifth Street between Walnut Street and Mulberry
Street;
On the south side of Iron Avenue between Eighth Street and Ninth Street;

On the west side of Eighth Street (roma point 4400 feet south of Iron
Avenue to Walnut Street;
On both sides of Walnut Street between Seventh Street and Ninth Street;
On both sides of Seventh Street between Walnut Street and Mulberry
Street;
On the north side of Mulberry Street between Fifth Street and Seventh
Street;
On both sides of Fifth Street between Ash Street and Elm Street/
Provided that the parking limits herein provided for shall not apply where other
limits within the zones hereby created are otherwise specifically provided for by
ordinance.
SECTION 2. Repeal. That the original Section 244-141.5, Revised Ordinances of the
City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 244-11415A and 214-141.5B be and
they are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Penalty. A person convicted of violation of this ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished by a fine of not
more than $100.00 or by imprisonment of not more than ten (10) days.
Section 14. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
publication in the official city paper.
