AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina,
Kansas, providing for a penalty for the violation thereof and amending Section 24-1412A,
Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1943, and repealing the original
section 24-141.2A, aforesaid.
BE IT ORDAIMED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Al='MMUNT. That Section 24-1412A, Revised Ordinances of the City of
Salina, r.ansas, 19481 be and it is hereby amended to read- as follows, to -gait:
"Section 24-11412A. ADDITIONAL N10 PARKING ZONES. No vehicle shall. be parked at any
time on the following, described portions of certain streets in the City of Salina:
(1) On either side of Broadway Boulevard between the intersection of
Ninth Street and Pacific Avenue and the intersection of Broadway
Boulevard and Walnut Street.
(2) On the west side of Ninth Street between State Street and Cloud
Avenue.
(3) On the west side of Ninth Street between Grand. Avenue and `'Tocdland.
Avennc.
Section 2. PENALTY. A person convicted. of a violation of the ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished by a fine of not
more than :100.00 or by imprisonment of not more than ten (10) days. :.hen a vehicle is
permitted to be parked, within any area wherein parhin is prohibited, for over an hour,
then each additional hours thereafter shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
Section 3. R HAL. That the ori`inal of Section 211-1412A, Reviscd Ordinances
of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, be and it is hereby repealed.
Section 11. This ordinance shall be in full force.and effect from and after its
adoption and publication_ once in the official city paper.
