AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina,
providing a penalty for the violation thereof and amending Section 24-1414, Revised
Ordinances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-141)aA,
24-1414B and 24-11.414C, and repealing the original section 24-11,14, Revised Ordinances
of the City of Salina, Kansas,1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-1414A, 24-1414B
and 24-14140, aforesaid.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. A1E,1IDIENT. That Section 24-1414, Revised Ordinances of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-1414A, 24-141)4B and 24-1414C, be
and it is hereby amended to read as follows, to -wit:
PARKING TD.jE LIMITED IN DESIGIdATE'D PLACES: =— HOUR PARKING ZOI E, . Ivo person shall
park or leave or cause or permit to be parked or left, any vehicle for more than one
hour at any one time, and in any orc place, between the hours of 7:00 otclock ATT. and
7:00 o'clock P.M. on any day of the week except Sunday, on any of the following streets
in the City of Salina between the limits hereinafter mentioned, to -wit:
On Fifth Street from Ash Street to Walnut Street
On Iron Avenue from Fourth Street to Fifth Street
On the south side of Iron Avenue from a point half way 'between
Seventh Street and Eighth Street, thence west to Eighth Street
On Fourth Street from Iron Avenue to Walnut Street
On 'alnut Street from Fourth Street to Fifth Street
On Seventh Strcet from '°jalnu.t Strcet to Ash Street
On Santa Fe Avenue from 11ulberry Street to Elm Street.
Provided that the parking limits herein provided for shall not apply where other limits
within the zones hereby created are otherwise specifically provided for by ordinance.
Section 2. REPEAL. That the original Section 24-141.4, Revised Ordinances of the
City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, and Supplemental Ordinances 24-141.1.,.x, 24-�4�4R and 24-1414'
be and they are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance be in full force and effect from and after its
publication in the official city paper.
