ORDINANCE NUMBER 5808

AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 atd
the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the
rezoning of oertain property within the City and prescribing the proper uses
thereof, and further providing for the repeal of ordinance number 5779•
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map
and the rezoning of certain lands within, hereinafter described has been timely
complied with; and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT, DISTRICT t'Ft', LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the
Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and
pulhlished as a part of Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that
the following described property as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land lying in the Northeast Quarter (NE -41) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section Fourteen, Township Fourteen
South, Range Three West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in
Saline County, Kansas, described as follows: Commencing at a
point 695 feet west of the southeast corner of the Northeast
Quarter of said Southwest Quarter of Section Fourteen, running
thence north and parallel with the east line of said quarter
section, a distance of 330 feet to a point, thence west and
parallel with the south line of the Northeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section Fourteen a distance of 180
feet to a point on the east line of U. S. Highway No. 81,
running thence south along the east line of said U. S. Highway
81 a distance of 330 feet, thence east a distance of 180 feet to
the place of beginning, property known as 523 and 529 South
Broadway in the city of Salina, Kansas
shall become a part of District "F", Light Industrial District. That the use
of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions
and limitations as made and provided for in said ordinance Number 5549 with
reference to the General Business District, as aforesaid.
Section 2. That Ordinance Number 5779 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
