ORDINANCE NUMBER 99-9917
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
MBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE
NING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING
R THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND
ESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map,
[e rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO
OW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "I-2", LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
iTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly adopted and
lished as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be
it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
The West Eighty-seven (87) feet of the following described tract:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Seven (7), Block One (1),
Cloverdale Addition, to the City of Salina;
- Thence East to a point Seventy (70) feet West of the Southeast corner
of Lot One (1), Block One (1), Cloverdale Addition, to the City of Salina,
to the right-of-way of a switch track of the Missouri Pacific Railroad;
- Thence Southwesterly along said switch track right-of-way to the right-
of-way of the main -way of the main track of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad;
- Thence Southwesterly along the right-of-way of the main track of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad to a place due South of the Point of Beginning;
- Thence North to the place of beginning;
- Except that part taken for Prospect Street.
The above described tract of land being part of Tract Four (4), Thomas
White Farm Subdivision and addressed as 1408 East Prospect Street.
shall become a part of DISTRICT 91I-2", LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. The use of said described property
shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in
Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the "I-2",
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT regulations.
Section 3. That all prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above
real estate are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
ion and publication once in the official city newspaper.
