ORDINANCE NUMBER 99-9943
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
NUMBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND
PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map,
the rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT 11I-211, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly adopted and
published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be
and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A part of Lot One (1) and Lot Three (3) in Block Twelve (12) of the
Schilling Subdivision No. Five (5), in the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot One (1);
- Thence North Eighty -Nine degrees, Fifty -Three minutes, and Thirteen
seconds East (N.89°53'13"E.), along the north line of said Lot One (1), a
distance of Six Hundred Ninety -Nine and Zero Hundredths (669.00) feet;
- Thence South Zero degrees, Six minutes, and Forty -Seven seconds East
(S.00°06'47"E.), a distance of Six Hundred Eighty -Seven and Zero
Hundredths (687.00) feet to a point on the south line of said Lot One (1);
- Thence South Eighty -Nine degrees, Fifty -Three minutes, and Thirteen
seconds West (S.89°53'13"W.), along the south line of said Lot One (1),
a distance of Five Hundred Ninety -One and Five Hundredths (591.05)
feet to a point on the easterly right-of-way of Jumper Road;
- Thence North Zero degrees, Six minutes, and Forty -Seven seconds
West (N.00°06'47"W.), along said right-of-way, a distance of Thirty and
Zero Hundredths (30.00) feet;
- Thence continuing along said right-of-way on a curve to the left having
a radius of Fifty and Zero Hundredths (50.00) feet, an arc distance of One
Hundred Forty -Seven and One Hundredth (147.01) feet, said curve
having a long chord of Ninety -Nine and Forty -Nine Hundredths (99.49)
feet and a bearing of North Eighty -Four degrees, Twenty minutes, and
Forty seconds West (N.84°20'40"W.), to a point on the south line of Lot
Three (3), Block Twelve (12);
- Thence South Eighty -Nine degrees, Fifty -Three minutes, and Thirteen
seconds West (S.89°53'13"W.), along the south line of said Lot Three
(3), a distance of Eight and Ninety -Six Hundredths (8.96) feet;
- Thence North Zero degrees, Six minutes, and Forty -Seven seconds
West (N.00°06'47"W.), a distance of Six Hundred Forty -Seven and Zero
Hundredths (647.00) feet back to the Point of Beginning.
The above described tract of land contains Ten and Eight Hundred Fifty -
Eight Thousandths (10.858) acres, more or less.
shall become a part of DISTRICT 11I-211, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.

Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. The use of said described property
shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in
Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the "I-
2", LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT regulations.
Section 3. That all prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above
described real estate are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
