AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas,
providing for a penalty for the Violation thereof and amending Section 24-1412A, Revised
Ordinances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948 as amended and repealing the original and prior)
amendments of section 24-1412A, of Ordinance Number 5815, aforesaid.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Comrrdssioners of the City of Salina, Kansas;
Section 1. AMENDMENT. That Section 24-1412A, Reiti.sed Ordinance of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 1948 as amended be and it is hereby amended to read as follows, to -wit:
Section 24-1412A ADDITIONAL NO PARKING ZONES. No vehicle shall be parked at any
time on the following described portions of certain streets in the City of Salina,
Kansas:
(1) On Ri.ther side of Broadway Boulevard between the inter-
section of Ninth Street and Pacific Avenue and inter-
section of Broadway Boulevard and Walnut Street.
(2) On the west side of Ninth Street between State Street
and Cloud Street.
(3) On the west side of Ninth Street between Grand Avenue
and Woodland Avenue.
(4) On the south side of Republic Avenue between Osborne and
Fourth Street.
(5) On the south side of Cloud Street between Ninth Street
and U.S. Highway 81 Bypass.
Section 2. PENALTY. A person convicted of a violation of -,he ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished by a fine of not more

than $100.00 orb imprisonment of not more than ten days. When a vehicle is

be parked within any area wherein parking is prohibited, for over an hour, then each additional
hours thereafter shall be deemed to bea separate offense. +'
Section 3. REPEAL. That the original and prior amendements of Section 24-1412A of
Ordinance Number 5815, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, be and they

are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its '
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
