AN ORDINANCE determining the necessity to appropriate certain real property for public use
and requiring the filing of a plat and survey by the City Engineer with the City Clerk:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SALINA., KANSAS:
Section 1. That it is hereby determined to be necessary to appropriate certain
private property located in Saline County, Kansas, to -wit:
Tract 1. Lots Two (2), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6)
Seven ), Eight (8), Nine (9), Ten (10)and Eleven (11),
Twelve (12)0 Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15),
Sixteen (16), Seventeen 17), Eighteen (18), Nineteen (19),
Twenty (20), Twenty -One 21),Twenty Two (22), Twenty-
three (23), Twenty-four 24), Twenty Five (25), Twenty-
six (26), Twenty-seven (27), and twenty-eight (28), in
,.lock igg.Bonds Addition to the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas; and Lots One (1) and Two (2) in Block Two
(2) in College View Addition to the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas.
Tract 2. All of the North east Quarter (NE/4) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW/4) of Section Eighteen (18), Twn-
1hip Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the sixth
Principal Meridian, consisting of fourty (40) acres, in
Saline County, Kansas: including all oil and gas royalties
therefrom, excepting a 3/4ths interest in such royalties
which shall remain with the present owners of the above
described property; said royalties Deserved to the present
owners shall for a period of two (2) years from the date
of the appointment of commissioners by the Judge of the
District Court, and in the event of production therefrom
within said two (2) years, then so long thereafter as oil and
or gas continues to be produced from the premises.

Section 2. Harold F. Harper, City Engineer of the said City, is hereby directed
to survey the lands to be taken, as aforesaid, and to file complete description and plat there
of with the City Clerk of said City prior to '' ,1955•
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
