00-10018 Zone Asbury Subdiv(Published in The Salina Journal DecemberO, 2000) ORDINANCE NUMBER 00-10018 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 8526, THE SAME BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER USES THEREOF. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "PDD", PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as follows, to -wit: Lot 1, Block 1, of the Asbury Subdivision in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, more commonly known as 400 S. Santa Fe Avenue. shall become a part of DISTRICT "PDD", PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FOR A HOSPITAL CAMPUS. Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. The use of said described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the "PDD", PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT regulations and development of the property shall also be subject to the following conditions, to wit: Permitted uses within this Planned Development District shall be hospitals and other health care related facilities, including a heliport to be located directly west of the hospital emergency room. 2. Signs #1 and #2 on the preliminary development plan shall not exceed forty (40) square feet; sign #3 shall not exceed twenty (20) square feet; and signs #4 and #5 shall not exceed twelve (12) square feet. All signs may be illuminated and shall not exceed six (6) feet in height above grade. 3. Area lighting shall be located and designed so as not to cast any direct light on surrounding residential property. 4. Development of this campus shall be in accordance with the approved preliminary development plan, including preliminary building elevations and landscaping plan which are incorporated herein by reference and any subsequent development plan amendments approved by the Planning Commission. Section 3. That all prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above described real estate are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper. (SEAL) AT a R.
