ORDINANCE NUMBER 00-10003
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY
SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Salina Service Areas Map (Figure 18, P. 172) of the Comprehensive
of the City of Salina be amended as follows:
An area south and east of the old city airport changed from Secondary to Primary
upon the following findings:
a. The proposed change is consistent with the goals, objectives and
policies of the overall plan.
b. The proposed amendment does not affect the adequacy of existing or
planned facilities and services of the city.
C. The proposed change does not materially alter planned capital
improvements.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan Map (Figure 11, p. 107) be amended to show all
identified in Section 1. above as Low Density Residential.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
