ORDINANCE NUMBER 00-9972
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A CERTAIN
TRACT OF LAND, IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) Section Seventeen,
Township Fourteen South, Range Two West (17-T14S-R2W) of the Sixth
Principal Meridian, in Saline County, Kansas, and being more particularly
described as follows
Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Section Seventeen
(17), Township Fourteen South, Range Two West (17-T14S-
(W);
Thence South Zero degrees Eighteen minutes and Forty-four
seconds West, (S.00°18'44"W.), along the East Line of the
Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of said Section Seventeen (17), a
distance of Fifty and Forty-one Hundredths (50.41) feet;
Thence South Eighty-nine degrees Thirty-two minutes and
Seven seconds West, (S.89°32'07"W.), parallel with the
North Line of the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of said Section
Seventeen (17), a distance of Thirty (30) feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING;
Thence continuing South Eighty-nine degrees Thirty-two
minutes and Seven seconds West, (S.89°32'07"W.), parallel
with the North Line of the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of said
Section Seventeen (17), a distance of One Hundred Ninety
(190) feet to a found Cap and Bar;
Thence South Zero degrees Eighteen minutes and Forty-four
seconds West, (S.00° 18'44"W.), parallel with the East Line
of the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of said Section Seventeen
(17), a distance of Three Hundred Forty-six (346) feet to a
found Cap and Bar;
Thence North Eighty-nine degrees Thirty-two minutes and
Seven seconds East, (N.89°32'07"E.), parallel with the North
Line of the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of said Section
Seventeen (17), a distance of One Hundred Ninety (190) feet
to a found Cap and Bar;
Thence North Zero degrees Eighteen minutes and Forty-four
seconds East, (N.00° 18'44"E.), parallel with the East Line
of the Northeast Quarter (NEI/4) of said Section Seventeen
(17), a distance of Three Hundred Forty-six (346) feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above-described tract contains Sixty-five Thousand Seven Hundred
Thirty-two and Thirteen Hundredths (65,732.13) square feet, or One and
Fifty-one Hundredths (1.51) acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the tract of land described in Section 1 above shall be zoned "RS"
(Single -Family Residential Suburban).

and publication once in the official city newspaper.
