AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance Number 5862.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance Number 5862 is hereby amended to read as
follows: "That for the pay4ent of the cost thereof, the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Salina, Kansas, shall issue Improvement Bonds of the City of Salina,
Kansas, in an amount not to exceed the total cost of acquiring said land herein

condemned, except as herein provided to be payable in one annual payment to bear

interest at not to exceed five per cent per annum from the date of such bonds and
for the purpose of paying such bonds and interest as they mature the Board of
I
Conunissioners shall:"
Section 2. That the original powt of Section 4of Ordinance Number 5862 is
hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect froip and
4 after its pbblication once in the official city paper.
