AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance Number 5858.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance Number 5858 is hereby amended to read as
follows: "That for the payment of the cost thereof, the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Salina, Kansas, shall issue Improvement Bonds of the City of Salina,
Kansas, in an amount not to exceed the total cost of acquiring said land herein
condemned, except as herein provided to be payable in one annual payment to bear
interest at not to exceed five per cent per annum from the date of such bonds and
for the purpose of paying such bonds and interest as they mature the Board of
Commissioners shall:"
Section 2. That the original part of Section 4 of Ordinance Number 5858
is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its publication once in the official city paper.
