AN ORDINANCE providing for and creating the office of Assistant Clerk of the City Court of
Salina, and fixing the salary for such office.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there is hereby created the office of Assistant Clerk of the City Court

of Salina, and that the Marshall of the City Court shall be ex -officio, such assistant clerk
of said court whose duties shall be to aid and assist the clerk of said court in preparing
the records and entries of orders and judgments made and entered by the judge of said court
and to aid and assist the clerk of said court in the collection of court costs due to said

court. The salary of such assistant clerk of said court shall be $75.00 per month.

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect upon its adoption and pub-
lication once in the official city paper, effective January 1, 1956.
