AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas;
providing for a penalty for the violation thereof; repealing Section 24-1409, Revised Ordi-
nances of the City of Salina, Kansas, for 1948; and supplementing Section 24-1412, Revised
Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948.
BE IT ORDAIIM by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. That Section 24-1412, Revised Ordinances of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 1948, be and it is hereby amended by adding thereto the following;
Section 24-1412B. Additional No Parking Zones. No vehicles shall be
parked between the hours of 8;00 o'clock a.m. and 5:00 o'clock p.m., Monday through Friday,
during the school year, on the following described protions of certain streets in the City
of Salina, Kansas:
East side of Ninth Street
from Euclid Avenue to Otis Avenue;
North side of Otis Avenue
from Ninth Street to Eighth Street;
South side of Woodland Avenue from Ninth Street to Tenth
! Street;
West side
East side of Tenth Street
from Woodland Avenue to Grand Avenue;
North side of Grand Avenue, Ninth Street to Tenth Street;
South side of State Street from Ninth Street to Tenth Street;
East side of Tenth Street
from State Street to Iron Avenue;
North side of Iron Avenue
from Ninth Street to Tenth Street;
West side of 11th. Street
from State Street to Iron Avenue;
North side of Iron Avenue
from 11th. Street to west line of
Baker Street, extended;

Section 24-141.20. Additional No Parking Zones. No vehicle shall be parked,
at any time on the following described protions of certain streets in the City of Salina,
Kansas;
On Wilson Avenue from Santa Fe Avenue to Fourth Street; south
side;
On Bond Street from Santa Fe Avenue to Fourth Street; south
side;
On Washington Street from Ninth Street to Tenth Street; south
side;

Section 2. PENALTY. A person convicted of a violation of this ordinance shall be
deemed
guilty of misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) or by improsonment of not more than ten (10) days. When a vehicle is

permitted to be parked within an area where parking is prohibited for over an hour, then

each additional hour thereafter shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
Section 3. REPEAL. That Section 24-1409, Revised Ordinances of the City ofSalina,
CKansas, 1948, shall be and the same is hereby repealed.

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
