AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas,
providing for a penalty for the violation thereof and amending Section 24-1412A, Revised
Ordinances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, as amended and repealing the original and
prior amendments of Section 24-1412A, of Ordinance Numbers 5815, 5844, and 5943, aforesaid.

providing for a penalty for the violation thereof and amending Section 24-1412A, Revised
Ordinances of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948, as amended and repealing the original and
prior amendments of Section 24-1412A, of Ordinance Numbers 5815, 5844, and 5943, aforesaid.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:

Section 1. AMENDMENT. That Section 24-1412A, Revised Ordinance of the City of
,Salina,
Kansas, 1948, as amended by and it is hereby amended to read as follows, to -wit:
Section 24-1412A ADDITIONAL NO PARKING ZONES. No vehicle shall be parked at any
time on
the following described portions of certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas:

(1) On either side of Broadway Boulevard between the intersection of Ninth Street
and Pacific Avenue and intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Walnut Street.
(2) On the West side of Ninth Street between State Street and Cloud Street.
(3) On the West side of Ninth Street between Grand Avenue and Woodland Avenue.
(4) On the South side of Republic from Broadway Boulevard to Ohio Street.
(5) On the south side of Cloud Street between Ninth Street and U. S. Highway 81
By-pass.
(6) On the South side of Crawford Avenue from the west line (Jf Ninth Street to the
east line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Right-of-way.
(7) East side of Ninth Street from Jewell Avenue to Cloud Street.

(8) On the South side of Prescott Avenue from Montrose Street to Front Street.
Section 2. PENALTY. A person convicted of a violation of the ordinance shall be
!deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished by a fine of not more than
$100.00
or by imprisonment of not more that ten days. When a vehicle is permitted to be parked
within any area wherein parking is prohibited, for over an hour, then each additional hour
!thereafter
shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
Section 3. REPEAL. That the original and prior amendments of Section 24-1412A of
Ordinances Numbered 5815, 5844, and 5943, Revised Ordinance of the City of Salina, Kansas, 1948,
be and they are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full Force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication onca in the official city paper.
