RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-4189
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE RATES, FEES OR CHARGES FOR
THE USE OF THE SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND SERVICES RENDERED BY THE
COMBINED WATER AND SEWERAGE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER 87-3916.
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That pursuant to Section 41-86 of the Salina Code the
following rates, fees and charges are hereby established for the use of the
sewerage system of the Salina Water and Sewerage Department, to be effective
July 1, 1990.
Inside city rates:
First 300 cubic feet $3.65 per month minimum
All over 300 cubic feet
@ $0.39 per hundred cubic feet
Outside city rates, except in cases of special contract, are
double the minimum plus 25% additional for all in excess of
the minimum.
Residential charges will be based upon water meter
consumption records for the winter months of January,
February and March. The three monthly readings will be
averaged and a constant monthly charge will be calculated
and billed for each of the subsequent twelve months
beginning July 1.
Commercial, including industrial, charges will be based on
the water meter consumption record for each month. A
monthly charge will be calculated and billed .for each month.
Residential Sewer Only: Charged at the average residential
consumption rate.
Section 2. That pursuant to Section 41-86 of the Salina Code the

All over 200 cubic feet

Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
7th day of May, 1990.
